The beauty of finished projects!

I must say it feels great to finish projects that I started. I am now a huge fan of the fingerless gloves. They are fun and fast to knit. These are the perfect little side projects to work on while working bigger more complex projects. With that said, I finished the camo fingerless gloves for my hubby and the black fingerless gloves for myself to use at work.



I've also made decent progress on my La Dentelle Belle scarf project. As I am typing this I look over and notice that my husband's cat has decided to lay on my scarf! Oh well. That is about all I have to report on project wise.

In other knitting news, this past week I tried two new things at the same time. Knitting with two colors and knitting on circular needles. Obviously I need to slow down and tackle one thing at a time because that was the most frustrating thing I ever tried. I went to bed Friday night very frustrated and disappointed. I think I am going to take a break from trying to do new things with my knitting and stick with the lace and cable patterns for now.

I plan on taking a sock knitting class in April at one of the local yarn shops. I'm excited about it. I'll also be learning how to knit on double pointed needles at that time. I'm one of those people that learns better when I have someone to explain things to me and walk me through the technique.
