Fingerless Glove Success!

Well, I decided to pick up another minor side project. I found a great fingerless glove pattern that has a simple cable in the middle of it. I started this yesterday. The idea is that the fingerless gloves will keep my wrists warm while knitting. So like I said I started this yesterday (Monday). I got off to a good start, and I figured I could probably get the left glove finished today. This is where I left off last night.

Today I finished the left glove. I'm really excited about it. It fits....well...like a glove! Not too tight and not too loose. I'll get started on the right glove tomorrow after work. Then I'll finish my Irish Hiking Scarf this weekend. Here's a picture when I started sewing up the sides. (Thankfully this cute pattern only required size 5 straight needles and not double pointed needles. I'm still working on the double pointed needles. I need to pick up a smaller pair, I only have size 10.5.)

And here's a couple pictures of the completed glove.

Until next time!
